That is one motherfucker of a burger

There is an American-style burger place (check out the menu)(it's in English) in Prenzelberg that serves a burger called "The Bird". Weighs in at 750g of beef (25.45 oz), comes with a huge side order of chips/fries and sets you back a measly EUR 19 (UKP 13.25).
But! There is a deal:
If you manage to eat it all in the space of 45 minutes, it's on the house.
Apparently, there has only been one person so far that suceeded and as much as I used to love meat, the thought of this monstrosity terrifies me.
I mean, look at this motherfucker:
Unless you're a vegetarian.
I only know one person who I would think capable of besting this Big Bird.
What do you think? Do you feel up to it? ;-)

;-)
But seriously: This is just insane, isn't it? I think the chips alone would break me.

Date: 2007-10-01 01:11 am (UTC)Although I do know of a place that sells really good burgers for 2.50 (and no, it's not McD/BK) near the K17.
Incidentally, as somebody who knows the way these things should be, which of the variations on the theme of burger would you recommend?
