TWO LIVE PERFORMANCES IN BERLIN

TG will perform two exclusive concerts on 31st December 2005 and 1st January 2006
at Volksbühne, Berlin.
31st December 2005 - 1200 capacity standing event with full Quad Sound system.
Doors open 8pm, TG on stage at 9.30pm till 10:40. Venue open till very, very late.
Other artists include: Big Bottom / T. Raumschmire / Thomas Brinkmann (full support tbc)
Tickets for 31st Dec are 30€ (24€ students/unemployed/etc.)
1st January 2006 - 700 capacity, seated event. TG will create a new live soundtrack to Derek Jarman's
1980 film 'In The Shadow Of The Sun' (16mm print). Doors open 7:30.
Tickets for 1st Jan are 24€ (18€ students/unemployed/etc)

'INDUSTRIAL ANNUAL REPORT' EXHIBITION
To coincide with the live TG events there will be a major new TG/ Industrial Records exhibition titled 'INDUSTRIAL ANNUAL REPORT' at Kunst-Werke Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin opening on 30th December through to March 2006.
‘INDUSTRIAL ANNUAL REPORT’ is a retrospective of Throbbing Gristle & Industrial Records and provides an introduction to the inner workings, strategies and formation of TG ideas and manifestations. The show focuses on TG/IR graphics and texts which are the representational form of TG’s focus on (and interplay with) the dissemination of ideas and the embracing of collective positive, active purpose. TG’s utilisation and subversion of existing systems of control, business practice and promotion to create and advance the ‘public’ face of TG is evident in not only their use of design across formats and specific purposes but also in the unique TG approach to power, cynicism and humour.
The exhibition is in two parts: 'A Formal Process of Moral Reasoning' presents graphic designs, photographic imagery, textual and original object exhibits.
While the: 'The Secret Teaching of Music' is dedicated to the physical experience of TG in the form of an audio visual installation featuring video projections of ‘Heathen Earth’ 1980 and ‘TG Live at The Astoria’ 2004.
