For a start, there is a surprisingly sensible take on the BBFC's banning of "The human centipede II" from somebody writing for the *gasp* Daily Torygraph.

It is in essence what I thought when I heard about what happened to "A serbian movie" in the UK. I think I even blogged about it at the time. What Mr. O'Neill misses out on is the fact that this sort of shit has been going on for quite some time and that censors have in fact gone on record stating that there is in their opinion material that the educated classes can cope with sensibly while the low-intelligence proles surely will be driven to acts of violence and insanity. If you know your history, you will know that a bit further back in time, the same point was made along gender lines.
I would still rather live under the diktat of the BBFC than the one of the FSK/BPjM. Let's not even talk about the MPAA. (Well, from a convenience point of view, at least.)
And yes, I do want to see "The human centipede II" and I do want to see "A serbian movie" uncut.

Was mich übrigens gerade in dem Entschluss bestärkt hat dass ich unbedingt eine CD von Maska Genetik in meinem Leben brauche. Und kaum bringt er eine raus soll es auch schon die letzte gewesen sein :(
(Und gerade spielen sie Norma Loy. Ja, den Kanal merk ich mir.)

Ein ganzes Album ist immer noch besser als die paar Tracks, mit denen man sich bisher begnügen musste.
Ich bin immer noch am Überlegen, ob ich Herrn Kopp brauche und ob man "You" eine zweite Chance geben sollte. Beim ersten Reinhören war ich wenig begeistert,

Schlimm finde ich ja wenn man sich eine CD holt weil man das eine Lied ganz mächtig super fand und ein Jahr später fällt es einem wieder in die Hände/auf die Ohren und man denkt sich "... was war das denn bitte für ein Hirnfurz damals".

(An schlechten Tagen quäle ich mich selbst mit dem Gedanken was ich mir alles hätte kaufen können von dem Geld, von dem ich mir CDs gekauft habe.)

"Nekromantik" bzw. sein Beitrag dazu ist ja geil und das neue Album sicher auch, aber bei "schwieriger" Musik geht man ja immer ein extra Risiko ein. Und ein ganzes Album im Stile von "Frauen verschwinden" möchte ich nicht und brauche ich nicht.

Haus Arafnas "You" war mir zu November-Növelet-ähnlich, deswegen bin ich skeptisch. Haben die Arafnas jetzt die Bands fusioniert?

(Sicher, aber dann denke auch an die Stunden/Tage/schwierigen Situationen, durch die die CDs Dich durchgebracht haben. Man kann immer andere Prioritäten setzen, aber das sind nun mal Deine.)
