There are of course only very few topics of conversation when it comes to graffitti in public men's rooms. Most popular is of course an offer of sexual favours, more often than not combined with the phone number of the supposed cunning linguist, sodomite or handyman. What I never got is why these people don't just stay in the bathroom and ask in person. It's simple.
"Hey there, big boy, would you like me to suck you off when your finished peeing? No, don't worry, I like them dirty."
or
*knock, knock* "Oi! Are you constipated? Why don't you just let me in and I'll take care of that?"
Much more satisfying and you'd also save lots in phone charges. But no, of course not, silly idea. Much better to have these subtle poems and messages on the walls.

Another popular subject is the insulting and counter-insulting of certain social groups, preferably Turks against Arabs, St. Pauli vs. Bayern Munich or Nazis against everybody else. And once again, this mostly happens along very clear and not very creative lines. Unless of course you visit a toilet that has in the past been used by individuals of great moral indignation and limited spelling proficiency.

Recently I came across a graffitto of somebody venting his displeasure about some right-wing messages. Now, what he meant to say was:
"MÖGEST DU ALL DIE QUALEN DER JUDEN ERLEIDEN!" ("May you suffer all the torments of the Jews")

Meant to, for his outrage made him unconcentrated and so what it actually says on the wall is:

"MÖGEST DU ALL DIE QUALLEN DER JUDEN ERLEIDEN!"
Which translates to "May you suffer all the jellyfish of the Jews!". Do not underestimate the wrath of marine biologists.
