The old question about an old song
Nov. 22nd, 2005 04:02 amRecently, while browsing through the music section at my local newsagent, I came across the latest copy of The Wire (Really cool mag for odd music. If you like that sort of stuff, I recommend you check it out!) and read an article on good cover-versions. There really seems to be a thing like that. They mentioned all kinds, including a string-quartet covering Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music" and that really hilarious Laibach-cover of Queen's "One Vision" . And, as I was very, very happy to see, they also mentioned Coil's version of "Tainted Love".

Has Black No.1 been fully turned into day-glo sludge?
