Two minor and resonably unimportant things

1. I just cannot help wondering why such a massive number of people doing voiceover on reviews of and promotion for the new Cameron Crowe-flick "Elizabethtown" keep on pronouncing the title "Elithabethtown" (actually, the sound they make where the "z" should be is very close to the welsh "dd" (a little softer than "th")).
2. When I saw kid606, I could not stop myself from asking him whether that story was true that he bought his first equipment from the insurance money he got after a firework blew off the tip of his finger. It was, he did show his plastic index finger to me.
Whereupon I just had to utter the inane line: "Well, I suppose it's good for scratching."
He answered: "Yes, but it's shit for playing guitar."
Then I remembered that he actually came from a heavy metal as opposed to a techno-background and felt a total idiot. 8-(
Concert was great, though.
